Bruce Taylor has been an artist and photographer since junior high school; he originally attended the University of Michigan as an aeronautical engineering major, but later switched to the College of Architecture and Design, majoring in Photography.
Bruce first started working with ceramics while taking a class at Northland Pioneer College ten years ago, soon after retiring to the White Mountains. Aside from his Community Art piece, The Squirrel, he has also created pieces featuring raccoons, squirrels, and rabbits, and is currently working on a seven foot tall jumping frog.
Now a board member of the Arts Alliance of the White Mountains, Bruce lives with his wife in Lakeside, AZ. He can be reached by email at crivyea@cs.com; you can also hear an audio interview with Bruce here.
